Drive
into the open roads outside of the old town, where you’ll discover
Antonio Gaudí’s most important architectural creations, enjoy amazing
views of the entire city of Barcelona from Tibidabo and visit FC
Barcelona’s famous stadium Camp Nou. You’ll venture into areas that most
visitors never get a chance to see, such as the buzzing bohemian
neighborhood of Gracia in this 3-hour tour.
Experience the
gorgeous Park Guell as you admire the many mosaics, including the Dragon
at the park's entrance, the beautiful designs along the terrace wall or
on the ceilings.
Gaze at the Doric columns or the vaulted
walkways as you listen to expert commentary. Hear birds sing, enjoy
awesome views of Barcelona and more as you walk through this wonderful
expression of Catalan Modernism.
Built between the years of 1900 –
1914, Park Guell was originally an unsuccessful housing site named
after Count Eusebi Guell. It was finally converted to a municipal garden
perfect for an afternoon stroll.
