The tour will start at in the heart of the Gothic Quarter and cruise down the famous Las Ramblas past the Boqueria to Christopher Columbus at the bottom of Las Ramblas. From there you will head towards and around Port Vell, the busy harbour filled with yachts and sail boats. As you drive into the ancient barrio of Barceloneta, you will pass the impressive Palau del Mar and into the narrow winding streets of the old fishing village. From there, it´s a ride along the beach to Port Olimpic, taking in the atmosphere of the promenade that runs along the sand of the Mediterranean.

Every Barcelona beach has small beach bars on the sand which are called "chiringuitos." These beach bars are hugely popular and serve drinks, snacks and a selection of food.

As you continue past another port, you will head towards the tranquil Parc Diagonal Mar, and also enjoy the sight of the Forum building, before heading into one of Barcelona’s upcoming barrios, Poblenou.

Don't Miss here the Poblenou Cemetery, wich offers a return to 19th century Barcelona, allowing you to discover a variety of monumental graves of some important figures from the period.

Resting place in the Poblenou Cemetery

At the end of the legendary Avenida Diagonal, an urban rebirth has taken place: Diagonal Mar. A 35-acre public park, three lakes, and walking and biking trails surround this mixed-use development, making for the city's hottest new residential and tourist destination.

This is where the shopping starts at the swanky three-storey Diagonal Mar shopping centre which is the largest such centre in Spain. High-street fashion stalwarts like Zara, H&M, Miss Sixty and Desigual are complemented by an 18-screen cinema on the top floor, a massive Alcampo supermarket in the basement, and countless restaurants dotted throughout. The main area of the mall is closed on Sundays, as is the norm in Barcelona, although the restaurants and leisure facilities on the top floor stay open.

From there, you will head back towards Villa Olympica, and finally around the greenery of Parc de la Ciutadella, through The Borne are and home.
